Ruth Downs qualified with a BA (Hons) Business Studies Degree from Sheffield Hallam University in 2003. She completed her DipPFS qualification from the Chartered Insurance Institute in 2021 obtaining additional qualifications in mortgages, equity release and later life care. Ruth won the Unsung Hero Award at Women in Protection Awards 2023 as well as being nominated for SJP Vulnerability Champion of the Year Award 2022 & 2023, Women In Financial Advice Awards 2024, Financial Adviser of the Year -North West and Woman of the Year - Vulnerable Client Care. She is currently working as an Independent Financial Adviser under 2Plan Wealth Management, but is also Founder and Director of Truth Financial Ltd.
